Leading suppliers support first Glassman show in Mexico
Emhart Glass and Interglass are the latest major global suppliers of primary glassmaking equipment and services to confirm their participation in the exciting new Glassman exhibition in Mexico next year. The event, Glassman America 2008, takes place in the glassmaking city of Monterrey on May 7 and 8. The exhibition, the first-ever Glassman event in Mexico, will be held at the Cintermex venue and we anticipate that it will be accompanied by a technical conference.
Glassman shows have taken place all across the world since the very first Glassman event took place in Singapore in 1996. This edition is sure to attract leading glassmakers from the USA, Mexico and throughout the Americas, and is the only exhibition in the Western Hemisphere during 2008 that caters for the hollow glass production sector as well as for flat and
other types of glass.
In 2009, two Glassman events are scheduled to be held. Glassman Europe will return to Lyon in France, and will be held on May 13-14 at the Cite Centre de Congres.
The second Glassman event in 2009 will be held later in the year in China, but full details are still being finalised. Glassman events are the ideal meeting places for suppliers to the industry and for glassmakers, to explore and discuss the latest technologies and advances in production methods.
